Thanks. I know that brass weight isn't as good an indicator as water capacity as a predictor of case capacity but it's something to go off of beside guessing which is what I am doing now.

Well shoot.
I could have sworn I had some Hornady cases, but all mine are WW stamped. I would ask here for some other 300 H&H folks to chime in: http://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/2511043 Sorry I couldn't be more help. BTW, excellent choice for a 300 magnum.
