Every thread I read says they used a dremel.  I don't have dremel and don't plan on buying one just to polish a powder measure

Looks like it's doable by hand and a two step process?

a) sand with 400 or 800 grit sand paper OR 0000 steel wool.  Alternatively came across people using Scotchbrite pads or a Magic Eraser

b) rub Flitz on it and buff away

Is that all there is too it?

Flitz is hard to find.  Had to order a small tube from eBay

I'm sure once you have a Dremel; you will find many more uses for it. Mine barely gets a rest.

Even a USGI patch tip and a drill, use 0000 Steel wool, build up the patch tip like a metal Q tip, go to town.

Do you have a drill?

I used something like this.
Mine was some no name knock off.
You may want a flapper disk for the transition area down into the hole.

Thx. I got a drill.  Will try the cheap route of 0000 wool and cleaning rod first.  My goal is to get rockin' with some some flake powders I bought during the last panic (Red Dot and 700-X) and polishing the powder measure is suppose to help.  Plus polishing is one of those projects you can't really screw up but my goal is to do it right and not screw it up

Good info above. For pistol funnels, polishing the outside helps with any case sticking. I just spin it in my hand.

Flitz from ebay came today.  Got some 0000 steel wool.  There's a polishing project in my future

Yep, I use Flitz and my Dremmel on all of the feed ramps in my pistols as well. Polished my Dillon powder drop as well. Great tools to have on hand for all kinds of stuff.
