Anyone using this bullet with CFE223 in their AR15? I have five manuals including nosler and can't find a recipe. Closest is a sie mk hpbt in hodgen handbook.

This is from an 18" BCM barrel. Only tested a few and groups were 1" or less at 100 yds. No pressure signs.

That's because the powder is newer than most if not all manuals.

Use the matchking data in the Hodgdon handbook or website.

I must be getting old, I swear I just bought #7 the other day.  And now they are up to #9?

New powders need to be actually available first.

I tried pretty much the same load except they were 24.3 and 24.8. Both were just ok for accuracy. But know where near as good as XM193. Was using a 18" Nordic barrel 1-8 twist. The XM 193 was about 1" groups at 100 yds. I also shot a few of my old Hi Power load. Nosler 77 gr, with 24 gr VV N140. This group was under a 1/2" at 100 yards.

I'm usually around a 25 SD when loading from my Dillon 1050. So seeing the numbers under 20 was okay with me. I'm sure if I loaded with a single stage press, my numbers would be a lot better.

Factory .223 ammo tends to be around 15 SD out of my AR.
