Just got some unprocessed 5.56 brass that is headstamped TAA with a circled +.

I am aware of the NATO marking circle but do not recognize the TAA.

Can anyone help with identification?

Thanks

It's also the heaviest mil brass that I have loaded so far. So work your load up accordingly.

It appears to be good reloadable brass but as mentioned it's heavier by 3-4 grains than LC brass so you may need to adjust your loads if you're shooting close to max loads. We've shut down and sold some of military arsenal ammunition manufacturing and U.S. equipment was moved to Taiwan so they could make ammo for us cheaper. Another example of sending manufacturing overseas and making the U.S. weaker.

Thanks for the info.  I did notice after resizing that the TAA brass headspace

measurement was appox  .001" longer than the LC.  Didn't scale them but will

check them out.  Primer crimps seem to be heavier than the LC.
