Wife just picked up a 7mm-08 Weatherby Vanguard, looking for loads for deer/black bear.....kinda a do it all load. I'm kinda partial to Nosler Partitions, but am open to really anything.

There are many GOOD bullets in 7mm that will serve your needs. (deer and bear) The Partition is one of them. I would go with one in the 140gr area rather than the 175gr for the 7mm-08. The 140 class will give you better all around performance. The 175 may be on the slow side from the -08 and may not expand well on a deer or have the shock energy of the faster 140.

Another good personal choice of mine is the Hornady 139gr. Either SP or BTSP. Either one will do both jobs. As I already stated though the list is large which is a nice problem to have.

I have a Remington Model 7 7mm08.

I found a load using Alliant PowerPro 2000 that was accurate with 150 gr ballistic tips and partitions.

42.7 gr of PowerPro 2000
150 gr partition or ballistic tip
OAL 2.800"

The 4064's work great with many different pills.  I have never tried Varget but some swear by that too.
