Just ordered 1000 Nosler 110gr. Varmageddon .308 and 1000 Lapua 220gr. .308 HPBT Scenar-L bullets.
My Lanolin just came in.
And 8lbs of H110, 8lbs of AA1860 and 3000 CCI #41 primers should drop on my porch tomorrow.

That's it. I'll have all the items I need to build my armory, setup my press and start reloading. Just gotta wet-tumble my already de-primed .300BLK brass and I can fo.  SUPER excited.

Resized 20 pieces of 7.7 Jap brass and ran my first batch of 9mm on my Hornady LnL. Took a bit to get everything dialed in. Right now I am having issues with the bullet drop die not wanting to release the bullet so I have to seat each one by hand.

Loaded 300 rounds of 9mm... 147gr Hornady FMJ over 4.0gr WSF. I had primer tubes for 500 rounds ready... but my shoulder got tired. No big deal, I'll finish the last 200 tomorrow.

Did a dry fit installation of an Inline Fabrication LED light kit on my Lee 4 Hole turret press.

Right now I'm using elastic bands to hold the LED strips in place and electricians tape as temporary cable holders.

I'm going to use this press as-is for a few loading sessions to make sure I like the location of everything.

Assuming it works out, I'll glue down the LED strips and use the adhesive backed cable holders.

Made a lot of empties over the last 3 days, camping out in the desert.

So today, got to sort almost 900 pieces of brass over 9 calibers.

Looking forward to a lot of de-priming tomorrow.  I love my camping adventures 2 to 3 times a year, but the downside (upside?) is all the brass work afterward.

Sorted 1500 pieces of 223/5.56

Sized 75 pieces of ppu with my new hornady die ........ I'm pretty much convinced my dillon die has been out of spec all these years now

Packed up the hornady dies that came with the bent spindle. Glad i kept the other set till it arrived i stole the zip spindle lock out of the original dies because the new one was so tight it felt like it was removing material...... Talk about crap luck

Packed up my dillon die for a trip back to see what they say.

This past weekend I finished my attached carport to garage/workbench project.

I got a Lee Loadmaster for Xmas.

In the past week I've ordered:
Lee Pro lbs melt pot
Several Lee bullet molds
Several sets of dies
RCBS primer pocket Swager die
Ultrasonic cleaner
Ammo cans
Hornady electric scales
Lee beak scales

All kinds of shit.

Pics of my workbench

been neglecting 9mm over 40SW lately so cranked out about 300 rds of 9mm
checked loaded 9mm rounds with case gage
then checked some 40SW rounds with case gage
checking always pays off found a 40SW with a case split

Made some Mexican Match 223 loads. Replaced the 55 gr FMJ with 55gr Hornady z-max in some 8 year old Federal American Eagle 223. I have found these to be extremely accurate and I do rotate this combination in my HD AR. I am a cheapskate and choke on the cost of factory "self defense" 223 ammo a $1/round.

Reviewed some chrono results of some 9mm loads - 115 and 124gr Berry's RN with a couple different amounts of Titegroup and CFE Pistol.  Still not sure I've settled on a load.

Picked up another 500 Xtreme 124gr RN while on sale at Cabelas.  Will load the same ladders with them to see if there's any noticeable difference.

Thinking I'm being too OCD over simple 9mm loads and should just crank out a bunch...oh well.

Unpackaged a new RCBS powder measure.  Disassembled and degreased the measure, then cut a plywood base for the mount.  Next will be to apply some paste wax then start practicing on dropping loads.

Resized a couple boxes worth of .40 S&W brass, and belled it.

Resized about three boxes of .357 SIG brass through the .40 S&W die, so it still needs to go through the .357 SIG die to get the neck/shoulder.

Resized a partial coffee jug of .223 brass.

Should have done more.

Running low on 9MM ammo.

Found half a 5gallon bucket with once fired Federal Tactical 223 brass hiding in the shed that was previously deprimed, tossed them in 2 Large Dillon tumblers to get them ready to run through the 1050, turned 500 of them into 300 Blackout, will run the rest over the weekend.

Found out the seating stem on my RCBS competition die in .243 wasn't deep enough to properly seat these 110 grain SMKs.  I had to chuck it up in the lathe, drill it out and use a tapered reamer to get it to work.  Loaded up 10 test rounds in .2 grain increments that I think I'll get the chance to fire tomorrow...if I get my butt to bed.

I believe it is preferred you start your own thread for questions as that can detract from this thread from being "What you did today"

To stay on topic,

I condensed 1 50 cal ammo can of 9mm into 2 30 cal ammo cans. Did the same with 2 50 cal ammo cans of 45 and now have 3 30 cal cans of 45.

I hated the 50 cal cans when they were full.

Stared at my press for a bit, looked at my paltry 11 rounds of 300 WM left over, didn't make it past that yet...

Just brewed a pot of coffee, going to go down and rectify that situation shortly.

Ran about 500 case of 223 threw the wet tumbler. De-primed and resized about 200.

Set the LnL up with #16 shell plate and set the de-priming/ resizing die in it. So much better than doing it on the single stage!
