They do look good.

I melted down 35 lbs of wheel weights this evening.  Going to cast my first bullets this weekend.

I sorted a 5 gallon bucket of brass.  I picked out all the .223 and ended with over a half bucket of it.

It is a relaxing mind dead sort of thing.  I couldn't stop until the entire bucket was sorted.

Now I have two more buckets full to sort, first world problems and all that...........

Blue Lowes 5 gallon buckets are about $3.50.  I was a bit short on buckets but now I have plenty.  I may get more to grow some 'maters.

@NBT

Did you remove the plastic tube and polish the funnel on the measures?  It only takes a few minutes with a Dremel polish wad and some metal polish.  I wipe down the plastic tubes with a used dryer sheet too.

I haven't, though I like the idea. Thanks for the awesome tip.
We pull random bullets and confirm powder drop and haven't too bad a variance. Since we're loading in the middle of the load chart....respectively...not much of a problem. We shoot a LOT...1000-1500 rds a week.
Once we start loading for precision...makes a difference? Getting into 6.5 CM soon...though we won't be stretching legs in 9 degree weather.
I will say that (when using ball - H110) it can load up once and a while.

Since moving back to OH from FL...incorporating an anti-static mat was paramount. Not really a problem down South...haha.

Started the day off posting in the reloading section to get warmed up,

Then, loaded up 20 rounds of 308 brass I attempted to load the other day when I wasn't feeling well. Good thing I stopped. The brass needed to be trimmed and primed and I was pouring powder, ready to seat bullets. So, got them loaded up. 42.2g of H4895 under a 165g SGK.

Then, to set up for some shooting and scope settings this weekend (maybe) I loaded up 48 6.5 creedmoors with 85g sierra varminters over 42.5g of H4895.

Been a week since I have contributed to this thread and It felt good to do something.

Got a Franklin Arsenal Vibra-Prime, and loaded 500 CCI SPP primers in less that 5 minutes. This this is amazing! Those that are having problems might have the old version or need some tips on how to use it.

Best $45 I have spent in a long time!

Today I wet tumbled 1,000 556 and 1,000 9mm. I’m prepping to do a run of each. I also freed up an RCBS die that had a stripped collar screw and reorganized and relabeled my ammo storage. I love my label machine.

Fiddled with some Barnes 95 gr. TTSX in 6.8 SPC. They shot OK. Think I need to back off about 1/2-1 gr. of CFE BLK and I should still be up at 2700 FPS from the 12.5" barrel.

Shot about like the Nosler 90 gr. E-Tips I tried the other day, not great, not terrible... Pretty much the usual for copper bullets in my experience.

Got out to the range today and tested the PCd 120gr 9mm from the 25 yard line.  Off hand I was able to pretty much hold the 10 ring on a B27, decided these are shooting good enough for practice ammo. Came home and turned out about 300 rounds in sort order.

Also, at the Albuquerque Regional my wife managed to win one of those S&W swivel bar stools, I appropriated it after determining it was the perfect height to at my loading bench.  The 300 rounds I cranked out earlier were done while sitting in comfort.  This bar stool will definitely make long loading sessions a piece of cake, can't believe I never thought of sitting and loading at the progressive before.

Picked up some 220 grain 8mm bullets yesterday to reload some 8x58mmRD. Didn't have much luck with 195 gn bullets last weekend so hopefully the 220s fare better.

Difficult loading for a 150 year old rifle where there is little to no reliable load data.

Had an exciting day smelting range crap into ingots. Had a small lead explosion and a primer go off. But I was able to get about 40 lbs of ingots. I still have a 5 gallon bucket of scrap to melt down.

Prepped 50 pieces of 223 for ladder load development with TAC.  I removed the expander from my sizing die and broke out the Lyman M die for the first time.  Stuff got in the way, so I'll weigh charges and seat in the AM.

Yeah, didn't wait until the morning.  Ended up seating 10 55gr FMJ-BT in 23.5, 24, 24.5, & 25 gr loads of TAC.  Hoping to hit the range on Monday to test them out.

Finished my "Alternative Methods" deer season preps, in MO we are allowed to use any centerfire pistol using leftover firearm tags for a couple weeks in late Dec through early Jan. Used to be just "muzzle loader" season but our conservation is getting wise to the revenue generated by opening the regulations a bit. Ergo, a lot of us are using TC contender pistols and AR pistols to get the most out of the season.

Loaded up 12 rounds of 6.8 SPC with 95 gr. TTSX over 27.5 gr. CFE BLK @ 2.3" (Max mag length, gives about .09" freebore.)

Groups a bit under an inch at 100 yards.

Clocked in at 2525 FPS from the ARP 12.5" barrel which gives impact velocities of 2226 FPS @ 100 yards, 1948 FPS @ 200 yards, and 1817 FPS @ 250.

Should set me up fine to make the longest shot I can where I hunt. I had them hopped up at over 2700 but it was really hard on the brass, probably fine for one firing but I'll err on the side of caution.

Just bought another RL550 from an old friend who got it when a very good mutual friend died last spring.

Paid $200 with 3 sets of dies.  It’s in pretty rough shape, will send it in to Dillon to be refurbished.  It was stored in a box in the garage attic for at least a decade.  Has rust on the high carbon metal components.

I didn’t need it, already have two Dillons.  He’s retired and has a very low income.  Hope the dies can be salvaged.

Well this is over the past couple of days but I got gifted an RCBS Partner Press Kit, first time reloading. Set up on a bench I made. Bought a pro trimmer 2 and harbor freight rock tumbler for SS pins. Started loading from a book and soon realized the RC130 scale that came with the kit is less than adequate. Going to order an m500 scale after Christmas.
