Since a friend still has all my MTM boxes, I have been reduced to baggies.

My first .40 S&W bullets I cast in shameful sandwich bags to be tested.

I dug out my .30 caliber ammo can full of .30 carbine bullets.  That mother is HEAVY!  I'm not absolutely sure how many there are in that can, but it's pretty much chock-full.

I also laid hands on the several containers of clean, ready-to-process .30 carbine cases I had in a couple of places.  I have no idea how many of them I have, but it's a bunch.

Now I have to get to the range with my test loads to know which load I'm going to be mass-producing.

Loaded 20 more rounds of 158gr RNFP PC Bullets over 3.2 grs of HP38 and 3.3 grs HP38 for quieter pew pew testing.

Going to compare them next to 147grs in a video tomorrow hopefully.

Hadn't touched my reloading bench in over a month. I loaded 200 rounds of .223. Then I decided to clean up and organize the area.

Consolidated all my parts, filled the new storage bins I bought and labeled everything with my Dymo Rhino.

Very nice, when You say "swaged", do you mean that you made the bullets? That would be so cool to do! What kind of accuracy do you get from them?

I finished counting the .30 Carbine cases I'd dug out.  I'm at something over 2k at the moment, and I'll probably find more.  About half of that was a big batch of demilled cases.  How do I know this?  There was powder at the bottom of the container - a very fine, spherical powder.  Oh and they missed depriming one case, so I have one primed LC .30 Carbine case on hand.

Then I counted out 500 of my big old batch of pulled bullets (I wonder if these came from the same operation; I truly don't remember where I got either one of them) to get them cleaned up for loading.

Now, if the weather will just cooperate A LITTLE tomorrow, I might get my test loads shot and figure out what load I'm going to put all of these parts together with.  Oh, and I probably need two more bricks of Winchester SR primers, too.

Did more cleaning of the room. Organized some more.

Pulled about 100 bullets from loads improperly loaded, missing primers, incorrect powder charges and trial runs.

Pulled 30 mid 80's Indian M80 ball ammo. You know the ones that go BOOM!

Any thoughts on refilling with good powder and reloading the cases, they are still primed?

Also found 2 223 rounds. Evidently I shot them and the bullet didn't leave the case. When I pulled the bullets no powder was found. Wonder how I missed that?

Based on the suggestions from informative members here, I went ahead and took advantage of the Memorial Day sale at Cabelas and ordered 100 EA of the 69 SMK and TMK projectiles.

I cannot wait to start doing some load development which reminds me, I need to talk to my favorite LGS on Wednesday when he is back in to ask for some Varget

got through 1k 223, then on round 1001....stuck case tried to tap it out but no luck.   sadly im not to upset, i hated that resizer / decapper ever since i got it (cheaper rcbs) ive always had issues with it.  now im debating a Lee version or that american hornady 1.  the lee ive liked on my 223 and 9mm,

I got to the range and testes my .30 Carbine loads.  I was happy to start out that they all ran.  I didn't see a lot of group size difference between the lightest and hottest H110 loads, but some of the in-between loads were more spread out vertically.  I also had a couple of IMR 4227 loads that shot very nicely - I think one of them is a real winner.  And wonder of wonders, I actually FOUND all of my brass!!!

The one negative from the whole thing was that I found I pull my shots to the right.  All of them...  I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong with that, but everything was to the right side of the target (this was at 50 yards).

Checked over all my pulled 9mm bullets. Then used some good primers and loaded my last 33, 115 grain 9mm.

Now to readjust and load the 1000 124 grain bullets.

Preloaded the 1,000 small pistol primers into Dillon tubes.

Check your rear sight, it may have worked loose or you may need to zero the carbine for the load.

Haven't really tested groups but pleased the velocities are very consistent considering my digital scale isn't the best
Going tomorrow and hopefully my LGS has at least a couple pounds of it left

Loaded 100 rounds of 115 grain hollow points for my new P01 (urban gray suppressor ready) pistol.  I've had the extra magazines for awhile (you know, buy the magazines, then buy the pistol) and need ammo to fill them up.  That should get 5 or 6 of them.

I opened up my order of 3000 bullets from x-treme bullets.  I was concerned from picture quality that these would not look as nice as Berrys bullets. Well, they should find a better photographer, I bet it is hurting their sales.

Needless to say, these bullets are bright and shiny and look incredible!!!

This was from the store wide 20% off sale.  I done good!!!

I still don't have a coil for my RF Annie Fluxeon annealer, so I am not annealing.............

Loaded 50, 45-70 500 grain cast over 13 grains of Unique. Recoil in my new to me, Ruger #3 is mild. I will do a bit of accuracy testing in the next couple of days. I did a few test rounds first, started at 9.5 grains and moved up to 13. According to a bunch of reading, I'm thinking it is about 1100fps.

Finished off another 200 rounds of 55 fmj 223.  Then i took a break and watched some youtube, 1 of the videos was how to lube the 550B.  then i realized its been about 5 years and i dont even want to guess how many 10s of 1000 of rounds i have done in those years since i even lubed it let alone greased it.  So I took it all apart, cleaned it, regreased it and lubed it.  Talk about a night and day difference.  not that it was tough to pull the handle before but it is WAY smoother now.

I finished tumbling my .30 Carbine bullets - two more loads of super blingy bullets!  Then I started a load of .30 caliber brass (.32 Auto, 300 Blackout, some Carbine brass, and a few others) running with chips.

Tumbling the last load of bullets wasn't as simple and neat as the previous loads.  The ammo can of bullets had quite a lot of powder in it - as in the powder from the pulled rounds.  It was a small grained, spherical powder, which is apparently identical to the powder left over in the demilled .30 Carbine brass I had.  Which makes me think the bullets and brass came from the same source, but as I've said before I can't remember where or when I got the things...

I also tried to sift the chips to separate out the all-too numerous non-chips.  There are "flakes," and what look like snipped off tack heads, and once in a while an actual brad/tack makes itself known.  Unfortunately, the screen I used only VERY slowly let the chips pass, while spilling them all over the place.  So at the moment I still have non-stainless bits in this particular batch of media, and I'm going to have to fish it out manually and slowly...

Yesterday at the end of a CCW class, four of the 16 shooters split a partially-full 5-gal. bucket of the range brass from the day's shooting.

Today after sorting out the steel, aluminum and unusable brass cases, I wet/steel pin tumbled, hand deprimed and primer pocket gauged (to identify crimped cases to de-crimp) 79 .45 ACP cases and 900+ 9MM cases.  I don't shoot .40 S&W (yet :), so the 200-250 once-fired .40 S&W cases have been set aside for now.

This was a particularly satisfying small "score", as I was about to buy 1K 9MM cases, the money saved paid for more than 1/3 of the CCW course.  :)

When I got to the range I found out I had ever so carefully set the OAL to a very precise 2.355"
