I'm looking for a muzzle nut for the GSG MP40 for when I SBR it.

I used to see them on ebay and they seem to have dried up.  Anyone got a source?

Thanks for any info.

OK found a source on Gunbroker.

Also learned the threads are 5/8-18 thread, and you can just get a regular nut off ebay, etc. You can also find thread converters like these 5/8-18 to 3/4-16 adapter

This leaves you with 3/4-16 threads exposed, which is the same as common oil filters. for "solvent trap" cleaning.

Just an FYI i case anyone needed to know.

I picked up one of these muzzle nuts from Gunbroker so now I just have to get my tax stamp and then the gun will look right.  The nut fits great but it sure looks funny with all that thin barrel sticking out so I guess I will leave the fake suppressor on for now.
