Whoo! Little rich for my blood. Guess I'll try my hand at modding a cheap MP5 stock.

Depends on what you are looking for in the long run...
I've been pricing HK stocks for a few weeks. Some good ones pop up on GunBroker from time to time... anywhere from $60 to $85 (depending on condition, plus the additional shipping costs). Numrich has them for a little over $150, and one of the HK parts stores has them for $140. Those prices are just for an A2 stock. Cheaper aftermarket is out there, but it is a toss up on whether you'll get one that is solid, or not. I have the original GSG5 stock on my gun, and swapping it due to the movement, so a solid stock is high on my list.
Then, you have modify the stock to fit it to the receiver (not hard, but got to take your time to do it right). Once that is done, modify the hole on the trigger housing, and put in the larger push pin (some stocks I've seen include the pin, others did not).
With the Rrages' kit, you just have to worry about that hole... that's it. And the forend is good to go, as well. The time and chance of getting a crappy aftermarket stock are worth the money to me.
