Yes they do.  The PK has a flash hider in the box, in it's own little cut out foam area 'cause it makes the gun longer than the case when it's attached.  The flash hiders between the two modles are slightly different though due to the fact that the PK's threads onto the barrel and the 5P's threads into the cocking tube.

Sweet, thanks for the info!

Any chance of a GSG-08 Pistol? The last decent one was the Erma Werka LA-22. Maybe something with a better trigger than the Erma?

Why not a ppsh or a galil rifle?  How about a Korean Daewoo also?

Build the British SA80

- ability to mount optic
- cool factor
- bullpup design
- doesn't compete for sales with .22 AR15 rifles
- would be popular in Europe

Put a vote in for a .22lr version of the IMI Tavor 21.

I agree. One of the simpler guns of yore, like the Grease Gun, Sten, MP-40 or Type 100

I would really like to see the SA85,FN P90 or Thompson SMG but in .17hmr or maybe 22 MAG.

22 LR is fun but I want something with a little more punch just to make it a little more practical.

I would be heavily interested in a Thompson M1928A1.  I am pretty sure that I can't afford one of those and I have wanted one for a very long time.  If there was a way to make the Grease Gun and M14, that would be awesome also.

^^^ X2

I came to post that right now.

I would dish out another $500 or so for an AUG.

JUST MAKE IT able to eject shells to the LEFT as well. Lefty safe ;)

I'd say, I would probably go with a Tavor. More so than the AUG, because it looks cooler (IMO). And face it, these .22s are for the cool factor.

A Galil won't be too bad, but you can get the real deals for not a whole lot of money. And in the end, it still is an AK variant.

HK sued GSG for using an HK-copyrighted gun. How would doing it again benefit?

No doubt a G36 would be bad ass as all hell, but no way would it pass the smell test.

May as well bring up the Quarterly 1911 question. Are there any in the States yet? My dealer where I picked up my carbine has shown a picture, price, and "backorder" status for a couple of months.

Where could we see an updated image of the final version, you know, not the split frame prototype from SHOT last year?

Oh, and have a Great Holiday everyone!

awww. don't be a wuss! tell'em its a mexican fx-05!

edit: to ATI and GSG whatever rifle you come out with don't make it something thats easily available in the US.... thats why the GSG-5 sold so well..... we don't have very many good MP-5 type rifles....

I'd have to say if you made an AUG, Tavor, SA80, FX-05, or P90.... they'd all sell like crazy..... just don't do a AR or something like that.

DUUUUUUUDE P90 would be the shit!!! and see if you can sell it as a pistol.

I've toyed with the idea of buying an airsoft MP7 and sacrificing a GSG-5 for it's internals to make a .22LR MP7 (registered SBR, of course).

Make use of the existing GSG AK-47 mag toolings and do up an MP44/STG44 - would sell like bacon on a stick.

Or an SA80 or AUG or Tavor or whatever can use a similar mag.

Make use of the curvy GSG5 "MP5" mags and make a Sterling carbine in .22LR, or a Sterling pistol.

I vote StG44 as well..

That would be more than epic..

I have a question about the proposed 110 rd drum mag for the GSG-5. Will there by issues rapid firing 110rds continuously? I imagine the heat exchange from 110rd fired in rapid succession with no breaks or cooling periods could damage the GSG-5?

Any comments on this?

I second the question on the heat of the 110 drum??   Would be cool if no problems are found to see the double drum made that was on the other page.  That is the one I was hoping for, but 110 will do for now!!

Whatever it is, I hope it is not a "toy."

No offense to ATI, but they run the risk of simply making a toy that resembles the real thing.  Some parts should be interchangeable with the real thing, such as furniture and such.

I only got to handle the new AK-22 briefly and it felt pretty cheap.  The GSG5 did not feel cheap, especially with real furniture on it.

I'm curious as well. I really wanted the MP5 type rifle but was scared off by too many negative user reviews. I'd die for a UMP45.

I must also put in 2 votes for some socom style weapons, being that those are very expensive yet plastic & seem like we could all see how there SHOULD BE a way for ATI to see the light - the XM8 & SCAR! Apologies if somebody already went there, I didn't see it scanning through the 1st & last couple pages I read.

I would love to see PP-19 Bizon-2, Vityaz, or VSS Vintorez clone. Better yet, all three!

These would sell like hot cakes since it is impossible to get the real deal in the States. In addition, Germany and other EU members can easily get de-activated copies of these guns from Izhmash, so it would be relatively easy for GSG to get them in and replicate them (of course, some royalty/patent payments would have to be paid). I would definitely be willing to pay premium price for a clone Bizon, even if it is made in .22LR.

They said neither of them would be released until 2012.  They didn't have the tooling or production equipment ready, the one's at SHOT were one-offs.

I overheard a guy at my local fun store ask if the GSG-5 came in .17HMR. Any thoughts on this?
