I've been trying to buy several strider knives for well over a year.  Numerous call and emails to them have not been answered .  Anyone know what's going on with them?

Best bet is to find them at Blue Line Gear etc. They had a fair amount of stuff at Blade Show but that was it. They are closing up shop.

Yes still up and running. Production Striders will now be done at Mick Strider Custom, and will be called the Mick Strider Classic line. Josh will still run the production side and they will still turn out knives. Duane and Mick will still churn out their badass customs. It will still be the three amigos at the shows (Duane, Mick and Josh) They just did some rearranging and consolidation, knives will still be made but the Strider name and old FWP logo are gone. The only way you can buy knives from their website is to "be in the know". They post when they release knives on a couple social media platforms and when knife batches go up on the site they usually sell out in under an hour, sometimes with in minutes of posting. You can check with online retailers. Blue Line Gear, Monkeys Edge, Rivers Edge Cutlery and a few others will usually have some models in stock. Or you can buy from Strider at knife shows, but they usually sell out fast.

So in other words, they're just dicking around with people. Got it.

The tactical folder knife world is a separate dimension when it comes to sane business models and customer service.

It's called business consolidation, happens everyday. I'm guessing paying for 3 shops and 3 different entities in Kalifornia can be really expensive.

Knife nuts are a wierd bunch.  Strider is good for the snobs that hang out on the Usual Suspect Network and buy from Tad gear.  That screwy busy model is perfect for those guys.

They were outed years ago and sales have continually declined. There is better stuff out there.
