It's from knivesshipfree, the brand is Northwoods (their house brand).  I bought the Forest River model, but they have others.  The blue camel bone is also tempting.

Couldn't sleep.

Reprofiled the Gayle Bradley to 15 DPS and got them popping sharp.

This is mid process.

Here's the first knife I've completed.  Well, almost completed.  It still needs a sheath and a makers mark.

It's a little stout sucker.  Only 5" long, made from 3/16" O1 stock. Natural Micarta scales with black G10 liners, and Carbon Fiber pins.

Becker Knife & Tool BK15.  (Discontinued, although it is an awesome knife.....)

DPx Heft 4 assault (black coating).

A knife I won't name (controversy) that I got for a steal of a price (used).  Good materials, questionable in other ways.  Please don't say what it is if you know, I don't want to cause a stir.

My dad passed down his Gerber Mk II and the UPS man dropped it off today.

To be specific it's a Mk II GA2 made in 1971, the first of the serrated "survival" Mk II's made to pacify the hippies.

I hope you give him some sort of knife LONG before he's 14. I've carried a pocket knife every day since I was 6 - almost 42 years ago.

Yeah I'm sure he will.  He doesn't get this one until he is old enough to appreciate it and not lose it.  I will probably get him a Swiss army knife to start off with in a few years.

Moon modified Benchmade 761.  These are great knives stock... but with a little elbow grease can be even better.

If either of your are in the mood for yet another Spyderco flipper, bentoboxshop has a sale right now on a limited run Domino with blue g10 scales and CTS-204p steel.  I'm tempted but happy enough with my blue twill regular domino not to jump on it.

New knife day.

This is the knife the 20 sided die chose for me and the knife that freed her from her cardboard prison

So far I like the fit and finish. Carries very well which is nice as I plan on it taking up some time in my rotation. It came sharp but not scary sharp. A few passes on my diamond laden strop and it started to pop.

We'll see how it goes before I put my edge on it.

Very nice knife.  I've looked at an Insingo with micarta scales.  Everything I've heard of CR knives has been positive, they seem to be just about perfect.
