Heinrich Fortmeier is an ellusive devil..... He has a website of sorts ( no link, just a fax number that doesn't appear to work) ...... I have been trying for months to get a hold of him.  He manufactures some really nice 50's........... one of my fellow shooters over here has one and I'm in the market...............  Any help in tracking him down would be appreciated?

Here's a photo from the last UK 50 Cal shoot i went to......... John Masefield lining up at 2500 yards with his RPA 50....

Can anyone help Identify this Big Rifle... I know it was rebarreled DOWN to .50 BMG... but I'm looking for the name...  I had a chance to buy one for 3400 this past week...  thinking I should've got it...   I loved the way it shot....

Ahaaaa as used by Burt in Tremors II, I contacted them just recently and was told:

"Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not export outside the U.S.   The U.S. State Department will not issue licensing for orders for the 50 BMG to be shipped outside the United States.  I'm sorry I can be of assistance.
Best regards,
Linda"

I haven't posted in this forum for quite a while, so here is my AR-50, mounted on an MG-42 tripod with a custom mounting system I machined from blocks of steel.  The scope is a Leupold Vari-X III.  The system works very well.  The shock absorbing system on the tripod is very effective.  I've even let children shoot it.

Sadly, I just today sent in my mandatory registration from and another wasted $25 to the Californistan Ministry of Islamic Justice.  I also paid the IRS the $894 I owed them for income tax, so all the pain is over and done with.
