Locally found a seller for a NIB FDE 17s.
$2300 and we do the Xfer Thursday. I waited patiently and this is the reward ( I had a previous post a few months back and it was far more expensive and things just didn't work out ).

Comes plain jane and no mag since I live I'm Commierado, but they can be had easily.

I'll post some pics Thursday when I pick it up.

Now off to find a worthy optic....... Id like to stay under a G if its possible. I know good luck right.......

Congrats, great price. Vortex scopes work great especially in Larue or Bobro mounts.

Congrats on the killer price. For whatever optic you choose I can't stress enough you buy a good mount whether it's rings or some sort of QD. Have fun with your new toy. Love both of mine.

Congrats!  A local store here has one for $3800!!!    Another example of "local businesses" that price themselves out of business.

Congratulations! Mine wears a TA 11 with green Chevron which I think is the perfect optic for this rifle but then again I never shoot out past 300 yards. If I did reach out further I would probably look at one of the 1- 6 or 1-8 optics as mentioned above.

Good luck with it.

Lucky!!

I paid $2200 for one back in early 2012, $1800 for a 16s at the same time.

PST gen 2 1-6

Or

PST gen 2 2-10

That way should something happen to the optic you get a new one free. With mount will keep you under a grand.

Congrats! The Razor and Elcan are the two best choices for the SCAR platform IMHO.

accupower 1-6 with your choice of mount can be had for under 1k.

Or save up a little longer for a used razor 1-6 or elcan.

congrats on the score
