[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for good soft case for SCAR17

Have a SCAR17 with factory 16" barrel, AAC 51T Blackout flashhider and std FN stock.

Optics is TA11

Does anyone have any good suggestions / experience with a decent soft case for this setup. Not sure what the appropriate dimensions are.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Check into one of these. Apparently issued with every MK17 to SOCOM since 2011.

Edited to add: When I placed the order they told me it could be up to a 60-day wait. Ended up being about three weeks. Well worth the wait.

I use one from elite survival.

I believe it's the 33". It fits well with the stock folded.

SERT is making a bag that is a little thicker than the normal TCC to work better with folding stock guns. I don't see them on the website yet, but would drop them a line. Very nice cases.

I really thought about getting a quality soft case for my 17S, but when I saw the quality and construction of the Pelican 1720 case I was sold. I found one in FDE for $185 shipped so I pulled the trigger.

I'm also in the need for a case, but $329????WTF... I'll spend money, but what makes it worth that price??

Well, I ordered the Huron case. OP, thanks for making this thread! This has been on my mind for awhile. tfisch67, thanks for the "bag call out".

I'll post a review and the obligatory pics when it arrives. That is the MOST i've ever spent on a case...especially a soft case - LOL

Just an FYI - I received notice my case will be shipping in the next 3 days, That back log must be filled.
