Was given a 1k rounds of .223 Remington. Is this ok to shoot thru you Colt M-16A1?

Just want to be sure.

Yes, it is fine, I have shot quite a bit of it in one of 16A1's with no problems.

223 is just lower powered 5.56....sometimes

you can shoot .223 through a 5.56, but you cannot always shoot 5.56 through an older .223....some 5.56 have higher pressure

i buy .223 wold gold for my m16a2...shoots w/o issues

Been on a kick on buying M855 5.56 but just checked my stash and have like 12k of Wolf .223 REMINGTON.

i bought 2 life times worth before Hillary got elected....enough for me and my 3 kids to shoot 2 lifetimes

wolf gold was $.29 cents a round on Sportsmans guide this past week
