After a lot of trial and error finally got my RR and CMMG 22lr dedicated upper working.
Has anyone been able to get a accurate rate of fire??? I burned through a lot of ammo today and feel/sounds like its has to be over 1000rpm. Tried a couple of Iphone timing apps and they couldn't keep up, the videos sounds more like a ripping noise than gun fire.
My 14 year old son said that we needed help to load mags, I looked at him and said what do you think your new day job was.

I personally do not know because I cannot get mine to work but the interwebs say something in the area of 1400-1500. I came across that number several times researching how to get mine to function in FA. As I said already I don't know that to be true from personal experience but it was on the Internet soooo

I clocked my Ciener kit at 1585 a few years ago. CMMG seems to cycle a bit slower,  so 1400ish is about right.

That sounds about right.  Here is my CMMG kit running:

I would say it's running around 1200 or so, but I could be wrong.  There is an old thread here about slowing the cyclic rate down.  It is a double edge sword, however.  The only real way to slow cyclic rate on a blow back gun is to increase the bolt weight.  When you increase bolt weight, you reduce available energy for the action, reducing reliability.  Also, you have to in turn decrease the hammer spring tension.  Too much crap imho.
