Trying to see if this is a quality M16.  Was told this is a forged receiver that has been milled and works with all milspec uppers without an issue.

Thank you!

I almost bought a m16 lower just like it except it was marked palmetto state armory. The owner told me he had no problems being out of spec. It is a milled receiver. I should  have bought it.

Early SGW were milled from bar stock, so are technically billet lowers, not forged lowers.

Some SGW/Oly lowers have been known to have slight out-of-spec issues which might already have been corrected on an older gun like that, or can easily enough be corrected for a few hundred dollars if necessary.

If the price is right, hit it.
