Your gonna need to be a bit more specific, what SMG? What mounting options do you have? What kid of laser, ir, red, green?

Max - 10 with a picatinny rail. I'm looking for a green laser. Because I have a red dot sight which I co-witness with irons.

The Steiner DBAL series lasers are of high quality not sure if you want sthibg smaller than that.
