I don't think there are any plans to have the caps coated. Engine paint could be used, though.

He does plan to do the blast shields black, hoping he can make a decent sized batch and sell them all.

You're welcome to ask him to make something black if you're not in a rush. He should be able to stick it to the side and send it with whatever parts he sends out for somebody else.

I'll ask him, and I'm in no hurry since I'm probably 4-5+ months from a stamp anyway. And thanks for the contact info....

I just picked up a Browning X-bolt, factory-threaded M13x0.75 (according to their e-mail customer service).  Any chance of having a rear cap made for my Omega?

In what manner shall I contact him?  I see dozens of requests in this thread, but no information shared publicly.

I appoligize if this has already been addressed, but he makes a MAAD adapter which allows the OMEGA to be used with the Trifecta FH/MB that I am already using for the Saker suppressor I own?  If so, what is the method of ordering and price?

Thanks for the update. I am looking forward to a 1/2" 28 DT adapter and a 5.56 end cap!

I expected them raw titanium but I definitely prefer them to be black. A few $'s more to make it work for him would be square with me,

Finally got my omega today after sending in my form4 on 4/13/16, for all you clock watchers.

Fit on the titanium parts are perfect.   I have both 223 and 30cal flat endcaps, and a 1/2x28 direct thread adapter.   I can't wait to try them out.   Excellent quality.

Hopefully pictures coming soon.

I'm thinking about going 3-Lug on a 8.3" 300blk build so I can run some 300blk rated pistol cans (Omega 9K and Obsidian) but I also want to use the 30 cal Omega on the 300blk build.

The Silencerco AC1417 Hybrid Piston Mount with the Silencerco 3-Lug mount should work with the 30 cal Omega....correct?

I checked with Silencerco, and they stated their 3-Lug mount is good to go with 300blk subs and sups.  Any and all advice/comments/concerns will be greatly appreciated.

I passed all that info along to the machinist. Not sure what he's going to do. I'd rather see one of the big boys (Surefire maybe?) fight it first and see if the patent holds up in court. Or, maybe the machinist doesn't care and makes them anyway.

I can fully understand that. It's not worth getting sued over. I might go back to my original plan of just having a tube made to go over my spare ASR module.

I also have the Hells Canyon Speed 30.06 with M13 x 0.75" threads.  I've been looking everywhere on the interweb for an adapter without any luck.  Can i get the machinist's contact info as well?  Thanks!

Does anyone know the exterior thread specs for ASR brakes?  I was really hoping BigWaylon's machinist was going to start making blast shields but I'm starting to plan for the worst.

I got the parts back yesterday.  Took almost a month to get done, getting my account setup and the holiday vacation.  I not the only one that is slow getting things done LOL. There is around 150 orders for the end caps, direct thread adapters, and MAAD adapters so invoicing and shipping will take sometime to do. I'm getting help with that part.  I had someone that deals with patents tell me I should contact the patent holder and request a license to make the parts.  Depending on how much it cost to get a license or his cut from each part I sell will determine if I will make the blast shield.

I sent him another reply since he didn't answer the YHM question, but haven't heard back.

He did send this pic:

I don't have them, but maybe we know something in the near future based on the info above?

Hopefully the Blast Shield thing works out. I don't know the full history of this other forum thread and the person's assertions, but it sounds kinda patent-trollish.

Got my 1/2x28 DT, 5/8x24 DT, and 30 cal endcap Monday. Engravings on all the parts look great. The machining and coating (wasn't expecting, but glad to have) on all three parts looks flawless. Omega is still in jail so I can't test fit and function, but I'm pretty impressed, especially for the price compared to SiCo branded steel parts.

Not sure if its a whole lot better, but there we go :) maybe I can get a sharper one later without my fingerprints all over them. . .

The direct thread adapters are engraved on the inside with their respective thread patterns.
Makes no difference to me, but you can see on the inside of the pieces little marks in the coating from where they were hung for the coating process.
