I just picked up a Browning X-bolt, factory-threaded M13x0.75 (according to their e-mail customer service). Any chance of having a rear cap made for my Omega?

Asked for an update on the blast shields.
He said he's finishing up a batch of 5.56 and 7.62 end caps, 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 DT adapters, and some MAAD adapters. Probably 150-200 total pieces. The end caps will have the caliber engraved. He's sending the whole batch out to be coated black. Hopefully done next week (not sure if that meant the raw parts, or includes the coating). Either way, the blast shield is next. As info...he doing this recent work during normal working hours. So, he's either eating some of the profit since it's going on company time, or the costs goes up a small amount. I know last time he just absorbed the increase. And yes, I'm aware I've posted "blast shield is next" several times, but I can only pass along what he tells me. |

I expected them raw titanium but I definitely prefer them to be black. A few $'s more to make it work for him would be square with me, JPK |

Finally got my omega today after sending in my form4 on 4/13/16, for all you clock watchers.
Fit on the titanium parts are perfect. I have both 223 and 30cal flat endcaps, and a 1/2x28 direct thread adapter. I can't wait to try them out. Excellent quality. Hopefully pictures coming soon. |

I'm thinking about going 3-Lug on a 8.3" 300blk build so I can run some 300blk rated pistol cans (Omega 9K and Obsidian) but I also want to use the 30 cal Omega on the 300blk build.
The Silencerco AC1417 Hybrid Piston Mount with the Silencerco 3-Lug mount should work with the 30 cal Omega....correct? I checked with Silencerco, and they stated their 3-Lug mount is good to go with 300blk subs and sups. Any and all advice/comments/concerns will be greatly appreciated. |

A little upstate. I asked Howard today three things:
1. Has he gotten the black coated parts back? 2. Is he going to make the blast shield? 3. Is a YHM adapter up next? His answer: I got the parts back yesterday. Took almost a month to get done, getting my account setup and the holiday vacation. I not the only one that is slow getting things done LOL. There is around 150 orders for the end caps, direct thread adapters, and MAAD adapters so invoicing and shipping will take sometime to do. I'm getting help with that part. I had someone that deals with patents tell me I should contact the patent holder and request a license to make the parts. Depending on how much it cost to get a license or his cut from each part I sell will determine if I will make the blast shield. I sent him another reply since he didn't answer the YHM question, but haven't heard back. He did send this pic:

Not sure if its a whole lot better, but there we go :) maybe I can get a sharper one later without my fingerprints all over them. . . The direct thread adapters are engraved on the inside with their respective thread patterns. Makes no difference to me, but you can see on the inside of the pieces little marks in the coating from where they were hung for the coating process. |

As info, I asked him about sending my current pieces in with the next batch. He originally thought it would be $150-$200 for a batch, so ~$1/ea for the batch he sent in. Apparently it ended up being $6.50 per piece. No minimum required for future orders. Not sure if he raised the price a couple bucks to cover that or not. |
