Does anyone have the Silencerco threaded adapter for a S&W M&P 22LR compact?  If so, does the adapter have to be removed to remove the slide like the EWK arms & twin tech adapters?  

Trying to decide if the Silencerco adapter is worth twice the price of the others.

I do not have it (so I don't speak from knowledge). However, I have one from TROS and it would have to be removed also. I'm thinking they all do, just because that's the way they get tightened

all the adapters, no matter the brand, have to be removed, the 1/2x28 threads and shoulder are larger than the hole in the slide for the barrel to stick through
