He probably wants your can. Did you have any problems with the ASR mount staying tight on suppressor body when changing mounts? I have one pending and I was wondering about this? I had to use the spanner wrench every time I went to take the ASR mount off the can, I have yet to have it come loose on it's own. Matter of fact, I had it loosen the brake from the rife on my SCAR (must not have had the threads clean enough when I put on the Rocksett). I'm glad to see this. One of my hesitations for this suppressor is that back threading for the ASR and direct thread adapter. For 5.56 and 30 cal cans I prefer as few threaded joints as possible so there are fewer things to potentially come loose. |

Some video would be nice and how did you get that finish?????? I was going to get some video but i was the only one shooting while my buddy was running the CNC. The finish i accomplished by chucking it up on the lathe and sanding it with different grit sand paper. |

How'd you get that finish? View Quote The front cap was a pain in the ass, under the black cerakote there is somekind of coating i'm guessing somekind of anodizing that is extremely hard to take off (i just took it off what you can see in the pic) I'm sure you can sand blast it off but i dint want to remove it where it counts. On the can itself i started at 230 grt on the lathe and worked my way to 1000 grt. |

Correct, i have leather jaws for my vise, i dont know why Sico didnt put notches on the can itself. and there's no meat do do it either. |

Can you not grip the end cap at the same time and tighten both? When I had my F1 end caps and adapters done, I had the Saker notches milled into just those and not the tubes. I can twist from both ends if necessary.

I have just wrapped the can in welding gloves and clamped it in the vice length wise and have never had a problem. I do this to remove stuck end caps on my Sakers. |

To me, then end cap doesn't need to be as tight as the rear mount. So using them against each other for tension isn't really an option to me. |
