Dammit. I am only 30 minutes from them and want a Specwar 556. But we are looking to put granite countertops in.

Here is a link to Blackwing's deals they are also going to have Specwar 762s for $600 and Thunder Beast 30BAs for $895 that are going to be advertised in store.   Everything will come with mounts or pistons and yes they will ship.  You will want to get a hold of Eric, he does the Class III there.

Oh man... I think I'll be taking the leap this week into my first NFA purchase with a suppressor.

Gulp... but the recommended NFA Lawyer in my state does a trust for a flat fee of $325. Is that normal?! Because there's the $200 federal tax stamp I'll need... so this ~$500-$600 suppressor sale is going to end up costing me over a $1000.

It's worth it man........my initial jump was almost $2000 for a trust and 2 suppressors......$375 for the trust, $750 for the Osprey 45, $350 for my Kestrel......$400 in stamps.....$1875 to get the ball rolling.....

Once your stamps clear, you'll forget all about how much it cost.

Welcome to the game, my friend.  At least you won't have to pay for a trust next time, right?

It's about 140 miles / 2-1/2 hours one way for me. If it were a little closer, I would definitely take a trip down.

Just sent a huge order towards Quiet Riot.........of course, Jake was patient with me, and answered my flurry of questions. Thanks again!

Just ordered -

Specwar 762
Octane 45 HD
Osprey 9

The $499 Osprey deal was a no-brainer over the Ti-Rant 9......and while the Ti-Rant 45 was appealing, I figured, why not just add some more money, and get the Octane 45 HD?

The biggest issue for me was piston compatibility, as I already have an Osprey 45 and several pistons for it.......

I got the Specwar 7.62, as on Silencer Shops test video, it was more quiet with a 5.56 gun than with the Specwar 556.......

I can deal with some more length and weight in exchange for the versatility of the 30 cal Specwar.

I'm set for suppressors now.

Congrats, I ordered the Specwar from QRF as well. Great can for a good price. I decided that the added weight and length wasnt a deal breaker.

Asked them yesterday.....they never got back to me as far as matching QRF prices, so I ordered from Quiet Riot instead.......got the email containing the serial #'s for my Specwar 762, Octane 45 HD, and Osprey 9 this morning.......

I couldn't turn down the $617 Specwar 762 and $499 Osprey 9.........I got a great deal on the Octane 45 HD as well from QRF.

But SS will have a Black Friday sale.....they're not announcing it until Friday at midnight though........

Silencer Shop Facebook Page
"midnight" on Thursday is a little ambiguous ...

Literally it means in almost hours.

I think they mean 36 hours.

Also.. Time zone consideration.

Haha me too! This will be my first suppressor buy and NFA item ever :). Waiting to see what Silencer Shop has. I want to get a 9mm and a 762/556 suppressor. Im either going with SS or QRF.

Up in the air on which pistol can  to get either the Ti-Rant, Osprey or the Octane 45.

Can't go wrong with any of those choices, really. A 7.62, a 45 and a 22lr would cover most of your bases.

Very true! All I currently have is a 556 AR 15 and a 9mm S&W. I want to get a 300 blackout and another 9mm eventually. Its hard to decide on the Ti-Rant 9 or Osprey 9. I've been leaning towards the Ti-Rant, though I like both though. And been researching the Octane HD 45 today since I just realized how nice it is. The Ti-Rant just seems like such a great deal.

Price on web site will not be the same unless viewed after sign-in.

Note: The Mosquito will not be shipped separately from the suppressor. Both items will be shipped once paperwork is finalized

Just so you know, Thompson machine has some unadvertised 4.5" 9mm micro cans for $204 shipped. They won't be near as quiet as what you mentioned but since this is a deals thread. Customer service guy is Brooks over there.

Probably not a great choice for a "first" though. I also bought a ti-rant 9mm

I think this is the first time in my life that I have ever been even a little excited for "Black Friday".

I'd be all over one except for all the mentions of it not cycling any pistol. Love the size. Great deal too.

Links?
First I've heard
What would cause it not to cycle? Feel few to take it to IM if people will get in a tizzy for derailing this

Unless I'm mistaken and its a different TM can.

And to stay within the thread, SGC has some cans in their Black Fridal deals:

ETA: Looks like I'm mistaken and its a different can. So this TM micro has a booster and costs less than the Poseidon? Am I missing something?

ETA2: I misread unadvertised as to mean the price, but the whole can is unadvertised?

My understanding is they have some contract overruns that are entirely unadvertised for $189/$204 shipped
I see no specific info on that can being unreliable on a specific host with XYZ ammo.
I'm still confident in my purchase.

I can only assume engineer is correct
They really are a more "serious" crowd over there...
