Varies widely. I've had some clear in under two weeks, and others have taken 3 months or more this year.

As said the waits can vary all over the place. You are however still better off waiting and getting exactly what you want.

up to 3 months. thats what it took on my octane. but ive also seen ones come back much faster from what other people are posting. seems highly depedent.

I think theres an issue when guys post X weeks for me.
So it throws peoples ideas of the wait times off. Its much more helpful if X weeks for me and received on this date is posted. 
Im not pointing anyone out. I just see this in most of the form 3 wait threads....so its hard to determine what the wait is CURRENTLY. |

SS -> My dealer (via paper) ordered 7/1 - 8/19 approved ordered 7/1 - 8/26 approved |

SS
F3 submitted 7/9, approved 9/16. I tried calling the NFA on my own too. I was asked if I was with the receiving SOT and I was honest said no. Then they said we can't speak with you.
But the very next day, BOOM approved  so who knows.
Oh, and my buddy through SS- F3 submitted 7/20 and approved 9/1. |
