Form 4 trust sent out first week of January. Got a letter on May 24 saying the trust name was incorrect. LGS had already replied to them with the correct info when I called them the next day. Said it will be about 2 weeks.

I just received back a F4 from January. 5 months is a month longer than my last one; I'm not complaining.
A couple observations / questions: ATF returned both pages of my F4. I did not expect to get back the page with my credit card info on it. The examiner does not appear to be in the list on NFATracker.com - "Elvenia A Letson" ? There is no 'control number' stamped at the top of my F4. All my other F4's have this; and some have hand written corrections. This F4 doesn't have one at all. Is this new? |

Vent: Pretty pissed/disappointed today because I have a form 3 going to a local shop that's flip-flopped on filing a form 4 early. I was assured they'd send off a form 4 early when initiating the transfer a month ago, but the guy I spoke with today wasn't having it.
If my form 4 doesn't beat 41f that'll probably be enough for me to never do business with them for good while, not for following the law, but for flip-flopping when i definitely could've gone to another shop that'll file early. I almost want to cancel the form 3 and transfer it to another shop, not sure if that is even possible though. |

I purchase a Sandman L from Lanbo's on 12/21, the next day they confirm they have my local dealers info. Feb I ask for status update and get no-where. I ask for serial number and same thing. March and April also same b/s. FINALLY 5/24 I get notification it shipped to my dealer. I still don't know the serial number. So WHAT THE F took FIVE MONTHS??? I purchase an Omega from Capitol on 4/2, I get notification 6/8 that it is on the way to my dealer. TWO MONTHS THANK YOU CAPITOL ARMORY for not screwing around like Lanbos. I know where my future suppressor purchases will be from. |

Lanbo has been very helpful to me with reliable follow up emails, even as recently as yesterday - always within 48 hours. But just realize that unless you order something marked as IN STOCK, the only other option is Warehouse which means an automatic double Form 3 from their supplier to them, then out to your SOT. Try asking him for a copy of your outbound Form 3 so that your SOT can start the Form 4 paperwork for you, but only after waiting some extra time to stagger the timing for your Form 3 to clear by the time they ATF gets around to your Form 4 later on. Good luck. |
