Why you are following me for?

Seems form 1's are going through at a regular pace whereas form 4's are all but at a stand still for paper and a slow creep for efile. Of course mine was a mailed in f4.

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

That gives me a very false hope that approval will come in approximately 3 months from now Probably 5-6 months given the increased volume between Feb and May Edit: I should have known the delays after the fact would have gotten as nuts as they likely will be. Had this simple fact occurred to me I would have filed 2-3x as many stamps. Basically everything I could think of I may have wanted for the next couple years. Your edit is the mindset that created this rediculous backlog. They were just getting caught up and then 41p was given a set date and people submitted crazy amounts of forms each. It's so bad that people are getting form 1's back and don't even have the money to build what they got a stamp for. So someone else that submitted one form in this mess has to wait all of these extra months To get to enjoy theirs.... You mad you didn't plan ahead well enough? No I'm not talking about myself.... You're mad for someone else, who didn't plan well enough? |

23 FEB submission for a can on a F4 Trust.
180+ days in and still nada. Haven't called but I have no reason to think anything is amiss... YET. SOT's around here are receiving mid to late JAN submissions currently. On a side note, I saw "her" yesterday while in picking up a different toy. This lil' sweetie is going to look/work great on my 6.5 Creed... |

Don't feel like calling and bothering them when the chances it's approved are slim. Form 4 trust. From what I've seen on here, hopefully I'm only 2 weeks out from approval. |

Makes sense as they basically declared war on trusts with 41F. |

But a year ago and earlier individuals took much longer than trusts.... I thought they reallocated resources I talked to Terry Whittington Jr. who is a ATF examiner. He said they get 10000 forms a day (1,3,4,5,10, etc) and there are forms stacked everywhere. I was amazed that I was approved in 5 months and was planning on a 8-9 month wait. I still have a YHM direct thread 5.56 in the pipeline from May 5th. I'm betting that won't be 5 months. Just the avalanche of forms they are getting daily makes me wonder how long it will be to get a July purchase. I would like to get a suppressor for my Rossi 92 .357 magnum and by the time I find one, form 3 it, form 4 it, it will probably be next year X-mas. Carrie Fishal was my examiner. I see on NFA Tracker some other guy from ND purchased March 8th Form 1 Trust and got approved Aug 25th. |

I don't think that is really the case, I was told that they were focusing on F3's to help get rid of the backlog, then moving forward with F4's. The sheer number of F4's that went in during July alone was staggering.. either way, its going to be a long wait for some people.. |

Does ATF mail the Stamp to your home/Trust address? Or you got the Stamp together with your Suppressor? |

Are the individual going faster than the trust transfers?
I called in today on a Form 4 that I sent at the end of February. They said they received it on 3/4 and that it was still pending. Now I see that people who sent in Form 4's after mine got approved quicker and are ready to pick up their stuff! |

My form 4 trust submission (pending 02/12/16) is still pending - and there have been reports of F4 individuals after that date being approved already. I expect mine should come through this next month sometime if the pattern stays as it has been. At least I hope I'll have it next month. |

I agree it would speed up the process, and your logic is sound.......unfortunately speed and logic do not usually exist within the govt, unless it's cashing you tax check...that is lightning fast! |
