Thunderbeast 30CB7 on a trust i placed the order December 15th 2014 local shop placed the order on 12-17-14 (Thunderbeast was closed on the weekend) form 3 was submitted on 2-18-15 form 3 was approved on 4-6-15 delivered to dealer on 4-8-15 form 4 submitted on 4-14-15 check cashed date was 4-20-15 ( i think the ATF looked at my state and couldn't pass up the opportunity) never called to check up on status so no idea when it went pending form 4 approved on 8-17-15 form 4 at dealer and in hand on 8-24-15

So I called to check the status of a form 4 today and this is how the phone conversation went.
(tl;dr version at the bottom) (after pressing 1 to check status, waited only a minute, then guy answers) NFA-dude: "Serial number" Me: "Hi, my name is Pete and it's serial no. XXXXX-XXXX, my trust name is...(guy proceeds to cut me off)" NFA-dude: "Where is it and where's it going to?" Me: "It's at (the FFL/SOT) and it's transferring to my trust which is (my trust name)." NFA-dude: "(insert ~10 second pause)... 5 months" Me: "Um, okay... But I was wanting to know what my status was? If I'm still pending or if it's been approved?" NFA-dude: "(another short pause)....it's 5 months" Me: "Okay... can you tell me if it is still pending or if it's been approved?" NFA-dude: "...F I V E M O N T H S sir (slow, loudly & clearly, but not yelling)" Me: "Thanks... I guess. Well, bye." (I hang up) Seriously, go choke yourself if you can't be somewhat pleasant, hospitable and answer the questions, or at very least, find a different job where your job required amount of human interaction is near or under zero percent. Last thing any of us "NFA'ers" deserve is to be talked to like we're a damn burden because we want to know what's going on, and that's after we are forced to pay a tax-to-exercise-right fee(under the threat of deadly force if we do not comply because then you're a felon), fill out paperwork and wait many months for the King's benevolent and gracious approval. It makes me want to stop paying the government's extortion fees & asking for their permission everytime I want another SBR, SBS, suppressor, etc. Sorry, I had to vent a bit after dealing with some @$$es this morning then this guy this afternoon, and I thought this place would be the most empathetic. TL;DR VERSION- Govt. gonna Govt., FATF, FNFA and as always FBHO ftr- this is the 2nd call I've made. I am at 4.5 months since mailing and right at 4 months since pending |

Check Cashed and went pending on 11JUN2015 Called yesterday and it is still pending It is an AAC M4-2000 I got a great deal from my Class 3 guy, so I didn't have to do a form 3 thank god. I have other Form 1 stamps, but this will be my first Form 4 stamp. It is a waiting game |

Check Cashed: 18 Aug 15 Approved: Stamp Received: SiCo Sparrow Purchased: 16 Jul 15 ...no idea on F3.
Check Cashed: Approved: Stamp Received: Got a call...Dealer inadvertently cancelled several orders he had with his distributor because things weren't selling and my Sparrow was cancelled. ...not much I could do. Time to find another Sparrow and start the wait...again. |

Make sure you get an email from SS saying they've shipped your can to your transferring dealer. I got the same email saying check was cashed 8/31/15 and asked SS about it- they have started submitting Form 4s before Form 3s come back approved ;) So right now I have a Form 3 and Form 4 in the system for same suppressor. |
