Problem status as of today
The receptionist said that the CLEO needs transferee's name. I have no idea what she meant by it, so I guess I will wait on the letter. Probably an extra two weeks now? |

I'm at about 143 on 2 form 4's on a trust.
I had hoped that the trust route would speed things up a little. |

I have been pending since 11-15-11. About 3 more weeks and it will be six months. Did very well with the wait until I called and got the pending date a couple weeks ago. Now I am very impatient.
Tuco update. I posted this on Friday 4-20, talked to the dealer at the gun show on Sat. 4-21 and told him I contacted the ATF and told him my pending date. He called me today Monday 4-23 to tell me my stamp showed up. The down side is he is a six hour drive round trip from me and the next show is not until June 16. |
|

sent in my fixed paper work today. Ended up my FFL had me fill out 2a wrong. It should have been John Doe trust not John Doe "John Doe trust". Lesson learned and I'm hoping my Form 4 comes back approved quickly lol.

My wife called and said we had a letter from the ATF.
It turns out they need the OAL for my Sparrow. DAMN!! Since I sent in the form for my Trident-9 at the same time, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully that means I'm close, at least. |

Talked to my LGS yesterday and they said the wait has hit 9-10 months so far for suppressors
|
|
|
I am now at exactly 6 months I went pending 10/24/11. I hope to have a nice picture up in a few weeks. I'm also pending on another as of 12/08/11, but the other supprossor should ease the pain of waiting I hope.
|
|

IDK when they went pending, just that they cashed the check on 11/30.

Certainly the wait time is getting longer, and it probably is somewhere around 9 or so months for people going pending now, but how does he know? Until people actually start getting there forms after 7, or 8 months, we can only speculate ... http://www.randominfo.net/NFA/WaitTimeTrend.php Frank |

Lately everything seems to have leveled right at 6 months...give or take a week or two. Going off of dates from NFATracker some people are getting their stamps back in less than 6 months as well... There does not seem to be a rhyme or reason as to when they get completed...other than differences from one examiner to the next. CMS |

Mailed my paperwork January 3rd ish.
I haven't even called once to check on it. I'll call in June. I guess it doesnt matter though, its a suppressor for a rifle I don't even have anymore. Maybe thats why I'm so indifferent. |

(hopefully) I have a feeling I'll get a problem status as well since the only property I listed on the trust when I sent my F4's in for my first two NFA items was the cans themselves...no "$1" or anything additional. I do have a lower on the trust now that's included with my F1 for a SBR so maybe I can call my examiner and have them use that Schedule A instead of sending them a new one. Either way...shouldn't have to worry about the issue until July-ish...I probably won't come close to seeing my stamps until August (F4's) and Oct (F1). CMS |
