Absolutely. Im using the taper mount adapter versus the direct thread on my 16” Rainier build. I fired five rounds through my Recce 5 then pulled it off and put on the OPM. The first round pop was louder, but the subsequent rounds were actually a deeper tone. More like a THUD instead of a SNAP. I wasn’t wearing ear pro, I was outside with some trees reflecting sound about 30 yards away. I had no ringing in my ears afterwards (only five rounds). Gonna shoot it more today.

The size and weight is awesome especially for the sound reduction. Can’t even tell it’s on my rifle even compared to the 14.5oz Recce 5

What handguards are those? I’m purchasing a trash panda which I believe is same OD as the FN. I’ve got a set of Aero handguards to go over it but I like those guards.

I'de rather be judged by a dozen than carried by half a dozen.
