Finally got my Griffen 30SD today! It's meant to go on a SBR I still haven't finished yet, so I'll use it on a 5.56 for a while.

Nice!  I love my 455 as well, but my stock is boring black.  I like your camo pattern.  My CZ is scary accurate (and quiet) with GECO match rounds and the Sparrow on the end.

This was originally supposed to be a KISS rifle.  I just moved from CA to UT, into student housing.  I wanted a cheap but reliable AR so I left all my best guns and just brought a single 16" PSA Premium.  Didn't want any optics on it at first, just the fixed rear sight and the (not visible) Specwar 5.56 flash hider to mount my 7.62 specwar suppressor to.  However as I remembered suppressed shooting I got more and more invested in minimizing back pressure/blowback. Ended up adding the Bootleg carrier (w/DD bolt assembly), holosun red dot w/ 65 MOA circle and 2 MOA dot, geissele super charging handle and 1/3 cowitness mount, SDC trigger and a light.  But in my (kind of ridiculous) effort to avoid tacticooling/railing my rifle I got the goofy light mount that attaches to the front sight post lol.  Oh and the sling is just a basic boring 2 pointer that came with a 6940 I bought years ago.

To be honest, it probably is.  If I wasn't working out like crazy now that Im about to start summer school in a new city and state (after an ugly 2 year divorce) I dont think Id like it at all.

Luckily, given where Im at in life, it handles just fine.

That pic is of the obsidian in the short config.  Long adds about 2" more to the length.I will get some pics of both lengths and post them.

Crap picture of my 10/22 SBR and Spectre II.

I'm working on trying to figure out how to inlet the aluminum chassis to accommodate the increased OD of the suppressor. I should have just gotten a 5" barrel instead of a 4.5"

Upper I built is all Odin Works components:

- 18" DMR profile SS barrel, 1x8
- O2 Lite M-Lock 15.5" rail
- Odin Works BCG
- Odin Works adjustable gas block
- Odin Works billet upper receiver
- PA 4-14 FFP Mildot and PA mount

Lower I took from my Larue Stealth upper, will do double duty for now and has a Geissele SSA-E trigger in it.

Suppressor is Griffin Armament Recce 7 Mod 3 with a Cole-Tac cover.

This was my first five rounds of the day.  I boresighted it and got it on target the week before.  I was shooting 123 AMAX factory.  The 123 SSTs were not as accurate.
This group was a five shout group, I pulled the one not touching and was my first shot.  My calipers broke but per the ruler, MOA for all five shots is about .8 and for the four shots touching MOA is about .3, I was very happy!

Very nice, I have almost the same setup..except I don't have the micro hand guard and I have  a Tirant 9K ...if you don't mind, could you tell me about your 3 lug set up with the Tirant...I have yet to put mine on, but I went with the hk parts 3 lug and the Tirant 9 adapter they offer.

Sure, I bought the barrel from inleadwetrust.com. It's a 5" barrel threaded 1/2x28 but the best part is that it has the 3 lug machined right into the barrel, no adapter needed. This way, there is no extra length added so the suppressor tucks into the hand guard plus you have the 1/2x28 to mount whatever you want.

Another plus if this barrel is that it's drop in. They machine their own trunnion, attach it to the barrel and machine the extractor cuts. I had an issue with my factory barrel that caused my rounds to hit too far left to zero any sight. This was caused by the barrel being wrenched into the trunnion at a slight angle so I didn't want to reuse the factory trunnion.
