Hi All -

I am interested in buying a Trijicon ACOG from Primary Arms with the ACSS reticle, along with third-party ACOG QD mount & lens covers.

Per the subject, when would the best time to buy high-end items in general?  Maybe Black-Friday, or July 4th sales?

I defer to the seasoned firearm enthusiasts.

I'm only about a year into firearms as a hobby and it's definitely taking over my life. :)

Regards!

you are pretty much in the salad days of pricing,,,should the Dims retake the Congress in 2018, prices will soar again..

Haha... I figured this would be more along the lines of $10,000 Barretts, Accuracy International rifles, or Schmidt and Bender scopes. In which case, they never go on sale lol.

Best deals are usually around Black Friday. July 4th has some as well but can be hit and miss. I'd wait out until next Black Friday... no impending presidential election to cause prices to go up.

I'd also check out DVOR... they can have some good prices on Trijicons. I've picked up an ACOG from there before.

But if you really want a good deal, get a used one off the Equipment Exchange here. ACOGs are renowned for being bomb proof... so take advantage of that and get a used one. You know it's going to work 100%.
