A handgun thread on unmolestered guns makes me curious of what folks here have in the way of modified/custom built guns.

Some of my first are a 10/22 left with a stock bolt, receiver, and trigger housing. The 22/45 has fancy trigger parts, a comp, and extended controls.

Can't put a vertical grip on a pistol that's illegal.

The pistol has an AFG.

The firearm is pretty much defined by the VFG.

Yeah I'm not talking about the afg.

It redefines it alright.

If it's over 26" overall, the pistol grip does not make it an AOW like you seen to think.  There are tech letters stating such.

Oh I didn't know that. My apologies. Sweet collection you got there.

I went with the Noveske rail covers on mine.

CZ 527M in 7.62x39mm, One of a kind custom stock with AK pistol grip and spare 5 round mag holder in the butt, rifle is bedded and pillared. Customized Marbles adjustable rear iron sight. One of a kind custom made 10 round magazine - 20 rounder in testing. I know, the mag is ugly but it is absolutely flawless in operation.
Rifle is my walking in the woods rifle, called the CSR, for Camp/Scout Rifle. No scope - never could get the Redfield Revolution 2-7 I wanted, out of stock when I had money, found everywhere when I am broke, so I learned to love iron sights.

Chaos USA, they're for the Saiga 12 and have no real vertical adjustability other than selecting the right orifice. I welded up the front post and filed it down for the initial zero.
They also bolt down instead of clamp to the rail.

You might like a set of the Scorpion EVO / Bren sights (not the big bead, cheap LPA version)

I guess technically my h&k sl8 that I turned into a g36c.  Only thing "stock" is the receiver but even that had to get milled.

ah, thank you for the info !

I've got a set of the CZ sights i took off my scorpion (my eotech is 100% reliable... right?  except when it's cold or hot or the batteries shit themselves in the tubes)

i really dig the hk style diopter sights, something about the look just screams... diehard?

i'm really impressed with all your work on that gun, i couldn't imagine trying to fab that myself, i wouldn't even know where to start
