In no particular order:
Ruger 10/22;

Remington 700;
Winchester 69A and
Remington Model 12.

Honorable mention to AKs and Marlin 60s.  I realize the .22s are overly represented.

1- AK and/or VZ2008 (cheap, reliable rifle that shoots cheap easy to get ammo)
2 - HK91 / G3  (Uber accurate & the roller system is awesome)
3 - M1 Garand (semi auto 30-06 that won the big war, what's not to like?)
4 - Winchester mod. 94 lever action (light, simple, the rifle that tamed the west)
5 - K98 mauser 8mm (OK, maybe this is the rifle the LOST the big war but when I was younger these things were cheap & plentiful, as was surplus ammo.)

Honorable mention goes to the Mosin Nagants & SKSs. Again, good battle proven designs that run on cheap ammo. Just wish they were as cheap as they were from 10 years ago.

And, although I never owned one, one of the weirdest/coolest guns I've shot was a Steyer AUG A3.

5 - M1 Garand

The Scorpion Evo and Bushmaster ACR have the potential to bump something (the Sig and Steyr most likely) off the list, haven't fired them yet but I really like how they handle.  ARX is close, but it isn't quite as accurate as I'd like it to be.

The small-bore AK has always been my favorite though.
