Narrowed my choices to a Larue PredatOBR and a KAC SR-25 20" APR. Looking also to run a suppressor in the future. What are your thoughts between the two manufacturers?

Neither is a bad choice.

I have been issued the SR-25 and it was a good rifle, but there is a learning curve with semi auto precision rifles.

Flip a coin.

KAC would be my pick without question if you can afford it.

Of course. Most typical ARs will outshot the majority of owners once they lift the rifle up off the benchrest and start shooting at things at unknown ranges.
