I don't know where's the 22, but since it's still January 2013 where you are I'll sell you a Pmag for $50.

Are you fucking serious?
I still get calls at my shop asking if we have .22 in stock. when i tell them no and they are surprised and ask why no one has it, it makes me want to scream "get the fuck out from under that fucking rock!!"

I have had no problem finding .22 ammo lately. It just costs more than it used to, but it is available.

I was just at Walmart last week buying a 517.00 Mossberg for 249.00 and I asked the employee where is all the .22LR. he said they get it in and the employees buy all of it everyday they get it. so it's still being Neckbearded I guess.

ETA.. I stocked up 10 years ago on .22 so I have not had a shortage, I have not done this with .223 and I need to while it's cheap.

Per the guy that manages the gun department at the franchise sporting goods store closest to my house, .22 ammo is still being 'neck bearded', even at the now inflated prices.  Go figure.

Picked up 1200 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag's yesterday at  Cabela's.

Now sure what everyone's problem finding it is about.

Sold 1200 rounds in 50 round boxes last night to a man, his wife, & their son.  Sold several folks today their 400 round limit, sold @ least one couple their 800 rounds.

Based on how much we're receiving, I'm hoping we might be turning the corner.

@ the store I work @, we have in stock, off the top of my head:

CCI MiniMags
CCI Standard Velocity
Winchester sub & supersonic
1 lonely box of blue box Federal
Bulk Federal supersonic "Target" - 325 rnds a box.
40 rnd boxes of American Eagle by Federal
Aguilla target & Super Colibri
Blazer
Remington Golden Bullets in 100 rnd boxes
Shotshells

No .22" WMR, though we did have some on Friday.

I work a day a week a a big box store behind the gun counter.

People are buying it...then they don't see it and so when it shows up the good nuts and grab it up.  It's a vicious cycle, but the good news is that it is coming back slowly.  It sits on the shelf space for longer and the prices are about right.

2.50 for blazer 50s
30 for winchester 555
35 for remmington golden bullet 550s
75 for rem buckets

What an odd round to horde lol

Here in CT we are either not getting much or the neck beards are still grabbing it .
I still have a decent supply (bought before the rush) so I don't go searching but what little I see in my travels is something I don't want like Rem Golden.

I fully expect to start hearing news reports of guys having garage walls blowing out due to their stacks falling over , not much being shot at my club

I bought another 22LR Pistol today. Got it Cheap! since they are all defective. So I have a major teardown and repair job + polishing and tuning before I will be ready to actually start 'shooting' it.

Would be nice if ammo would be available by Xmas.

As is I can shoot & reload most centerfire cheaper than buying 22LR.

over the past few months this is what i've picked up, not counting what i've shot.  no neckbeard prices were paid, all bought at academy, wally world, bass pro, and cabela's.
