1st is Ruger rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers.
2nd would be Springfield Armory. The real one. 3rd Antique Stevens single shot rifles. I'm guessing though. Would have to go look and start counting. |

5 LMT's
10.5 12.5 MRP piston 14.5 16 rifle length MRP .308 MWSE |

Smith and Wesson. Two M&P handguns, an M&P15, an SD9 and a 22A.
It's now a tie between:
Yankee Hill Machine (4 suppressors: 7.62 Phantom, 5.56 Phantom, Cobra 9, and .22 Mite) and Glock: G21 and 3 G-19's (two of which are dedicated hosts for two of the YHM cans (Cobra 9 and Mite)). |

Well, this thread has shown me that my records need to be brought up-to-date in a bad way.....
After making some interm corrections, the results are: Izhevsk is the clear "winner", with 11 rifles (and 1-2 not identified that COULD be) Sub category "Finn" is a close second, with 10 rifles, although there is some overlap with "Izhevsk". Next is Smith & Wesson, with 6. Honestly, I never thought I'd own that many Smiths and, ironically, if it were not for a Model 3 I bought last spring, not a one of them would be a revolver. I guess I'm liking the modern S&W a lot more than I allowed, before doing this count. Hell, I'm thinking about getting me a Shield. The wife doesn't turn loose of hers easily. |

This post made me think. I am pretty random. Out of 50 guns the most I have from any one company is maybe CZ, with a real VZ-58, P-07, and 452 22LR. Then I have Sig 556 Swiss lower, 225, 232. No wait I got it, Norinco with 4 AKs...

S&W
1006 4026 1500 10 13 17 65 442 Next would be Glocks: 19, 22, 23, 23, 35 |
Ruger. have three Ruger handguns, had the mini 14 prior to the divorce and the kids own their 10-22s
Wish I had several Ithaca Gun models due to the local connection but I can't justify the expense for a purely collectable gun that isn't going to see regular use. |
Glock: 19.2, 17.3 vickers. 17.4, 34.4
BCM :(uppers) 16 ELW KMR, 16 Geissele mk1, 16 Giessele Mk4 (CWAR in progress), 12.5 pistol PSA lowers Geissele/ALG wherever possible |
Handguns are mostly Glocks. Rifles were mostly RRAs, but are being phased out by 80% lowers.
Ruger rifles pistols shotguns, followed closely by Remington
Springfield and Glock are currently tied, unless you consider that all of my Glocks are 9mm, but one of my Springfields is .45ACP and one id .308, so, obviously, Springfield wins...
Colt, Ruger, and Remington are tied at 3 each.
Just remembered a Remington from 1929. Remington Wins!! |
Is "home made" a brand?
I own more home made guns than any particular brand. |
Ruger somehow snuck up on me as the brand leader with 7. FN come in behind with 3, then a bunch of 2s like Colt, Kimber, Sig, CZ, HK, Mossberg, etc.
Swiss K31's or maybe S&W revolvers. Do not remember for sure.
Sptingfield. Socom 16, lightweight operator, milspc, and the wife has a xdm.
if it's just me springfield is tied with glock two 19s and a 26. |
Ruger. Then Glock. This doesn't count AR lowers though.
10/22 22/45 x 2 P95 .44 carbine .45 LC Bisley Vaquero x 2 ETA: forgot about the LCP. And the SR22. G31 G33 G22 G23 G17c G43 |

Last time I counted it was pretty close to a four way tie between Colt, S&W, Ruger & Glock.
Ruger. I have 10 of them and will likely have more. Next would be Zastava with 5, then 4 each from S&W and Marlin, followed by 3 Remingtons, and 2 each of Sig Sauer, Springfield, Savage and Mossberg.
I don't have more than 1 of anything else except for AR lowers, some of which I have 2 or 3 of the same brand, but those are just the stripped lowers and most of them were finished with other manufacturers parts. |
