I am not necessarily looking to pick one up, but there is a good price on one, $800 new. Don't know much about them except a few articles from google. What is the consensus on the FN FNAR?

I vote no and would rather put the money into building an AR-10 if you want a highly accurate 308 semi-auto with detachable mags.

Good performing  guns for the money, but the take down is a deal killer for me.
