i like the durability of cerakote- I could just get a multicam pattern applied with cerakote, but I really like the look of hydro-dipped multicam- it looks more crisp and 'correct' in my opinion.  would it be just as durable to do a hydrodip, then cerakote clear coat over the top of that?

I have a rifle and a pistol that I had hydrodipped multicam over three years ago and still looks amazing.  This includes occasionally dropping the pistol in a sonic cleaner and constant exposure to solvents.
