I have a used German 220 that CCR refinished last year. The slide was perfectly refinished in the CPII stainless finish.

The problem is the aluminum frame, which was supposed to match the silver slide. The finish itself is good but they did an incredibly poor job matching the color. It's practically two-tone - stainless on top and a creamy olive color on the bottom. Wondering who can fix this other than CCR (I have no interest in sending it back to them) and which finish, specifically, will be the best match for the slide.

Any insight appreciated.

Maybe using the same finish they used on the slide?

CCR didn't because the frame is aluminum and the slide is stainless steel. And their CPII finish can't adhere to aluminum.
