Recently used krylon, rust oleum and the EXCELLENT Primary Arms camo stencil.
Build is a PSA upper, 18" CHF barrel, ODIN Works 15" rail, PSA lower, ACS stock.  Trijicon TR24G in Aero Precision Ultralight 30mm mount (which is built like a TANK, BTW).
What do you think guys?

Good job on your part, but it looks too busy for me.

Half that would have been better.

Busy? Its camo I think it looks great. Not as busy as many other patterns are. Of course that would depend on his region. For here in the thickyl wooded SE mtns, all one-ish color like FDE/tan still stands out somewhat.

Yes, it's true, camo can look pretty busy.  It seems to work well here for New Mexico, in the "arid desert" climate classification.  I think if I were to take this into the mountains/woods, I would probably add some more green.

Here are some shots of it "in action".  It's located against the trunk about 1/3 to 1/2 up from the ground.

Looks great!  I love their stencils.

Super easy too.  Took about 2 hours of actual painting time (total time was longer due to drying time between coats).

Not bad but its easy to hide in shadows.

How bout a pic under the sun?

I like it even better now that one can see it in the sun light. I've found any given camo is somewhat better when seen in the shadows. ..for obv reasons. A truer test is out in the sun with the rifle profiled. It works brilliantly in that environment.

Great job!

Any pics of it in pitch blackness?

Lol!

Seriously, you guys should consider doing this to your rifles: it's cheap, easy, fast, and easily removed if so desired.
