It has held up well in the year I have had it done. Wow. That multicam job looks great. One question. Is the entire interior also treated?
Another option might be a vinyl kit. Already precut. Gunskins.com had about 30 diff camo patterns for the AR and others. This carbines receivers, some of the barrel, and a bit on the RDS...is Gunskins. All the rest is either hydro dipped or painted by me. 
This 10.5" is all Gunskins, sans the light of course. I made all this from the extra sheet they give you aside from the precut stuff. Reused the old used precut outer frame work for the patterns. So both these ARs were done using just 1 kit. Fwiw.

The inside is cerekoted green, It makes cleanup easy and has lasted a long time. That alone should testify for the durability of cerekote.
