I know this has been covered before. I picked up a n ENVIS monocular reasonably priced but the battery compartment is damaged. Are there any housing options that used both the c mount objective and the original eyepeice?

I've heard of other people on this forum put their Envis m703 tube into a pvs14. You can probably still find it if you search for it on google. I believe its called Envis m703 to Pvs14 conversion.

Found this.

Looks like rear lens fits pvs5. NAIT has some kind of housing that uses pvs5 glass. I think you are best off with getting an ab micro cmount housing and just picking up a cheap avs6 style eyepiece.

I am not sure if AB Nightvision still makes them, but I have an AB micro housing threaded for ENVIS lenses, it was $250, drop in the tube, thread on the lenses and boom, you are done.

The ENVIS battery cap ALWAYS breaks, its like the sun setting.

You can also just drop the 10160/envis/anvis tube in to a PVS-14 housing, a complete housing with lenses is about 600 bucks new. You will not have manual gain like with a 14 tube, but everything else works just the same.

Talked with Adam at AB Nightvision and the micro doesn't use the ENVIS ocular.

Maybe someone has a PVS14 or ANVIS ocular with broken glass that I can swap out for the ENVIS glass. I am pretty sure the optical cell is the same except for internal vs external threading.

I ordered a micro housing from Night Vision Devices for $325 plus 12 for tube retaining ring.
I also ordered what I think is the part that will convert the ENVIS ocular to a PVS14 type.
It is this $18 piece:

ENVIS ocular with eyecup retaining ring removed on lathe:

Results to follow.

Evis cell holder on left
PVS-14 /Micro cell holder on right

The ENVIS optical cell required trimming on the lathe as well as the o-ring retaining groove deepened.
Diopter ring is shorter on the ENVIS so a made a nylon spacer.

Not possible to do without a lathe but save me about a $150.

Finished product minus eyecup retaining ring.

I was about to say that the lens isn't going to fit... But you did a good job converting it.
