I was gifted 3, 7b  intensifiers.

I do not know if they work

I have no personal NVGs.

What should I do?
Try to buy a pvs 7 parts kit and hope for the best?

I have built pvs14 before.

Easily solved.
Step 1: power them up to see if they work.
Step 2: sell the best one to me at "Playa Price"...

Put 3V across the contacts in a dark room. You'll be able to see if they work and get an idea of any blems. Posting the label information in the "what tube do I have thread" can get you a little more info about what contact and what specs they should have.

That's your ATG. The others may still be ATG - they may be quieter - or non-ATG.

Buy three housings and build three working PVS-7's, you can never have enough.

Well, i bought a 7b kit.

woot, I am NVG owner now!!

I can not wait to start a dinner thread with a set of NVGs, a Micro Tech OTF knivfe, a pile of transferable MGs, and a bowl of ramen with cut up hot dogs.

The 7B is great for observation. I just don't like walking around with no depth perception, but for sitting in a fixed position, I actually almost prefer the 7B because it is so easy to use and adjust - and both eyes are perfectly matched.

For walking around, I still prefer true binos or a mono
