so i just jumped on the bandwagon and got a bring-back AN-14 that seemed like a good deal, and a good place to start.  now i need some help with mounts, mainly a weapon mount.  the host is an AR, flat top with a Larue rail.  im currently running a Vortex SPARC, and really like it and don;t want to change it.  it seems as though im either going to have to mount it to the rail, or find a canilever mount which i have not seen for mini dots. it lokks like a USGI mount may work behind it, but seems to put it pretty far back

thanks, i will invest in larue mounts down the road, but for now i got a killer deal on a USGI mount, so im going to play with it a bit and see how it works.  im not sure how i will like the eye relief, and i dont want to mount my SPARC on the Larue rail as i know its not optimal not being on the receiver
