I am approaching 90 days on a form 1 can, my free sbrs and a few paid ones took about 60 days. I just sent a ask a question, if I dont hear anything in a week I will email mr hartsock. the last time I did that it was approved 2 days later.

I filed my first form 1 sbr, digital prints, individual filer, on 9/19. Forgive my ignorance/naïveté on the form 1 process, but I assume there is zero notification or change in status until approved? Also, are you counting business days or total days for these approval ranges? There definitely seems to be no rhyme or reason to approvals.

I just got an E-Form1 approval for a submission on 11/02/2023. 19 days!
The person that posted right above me in the tracking thread, was 15 days! Can't believe how jacked and inconsistent this process is. |

I submitted my Form 1 October 28th and checked the submitted in progress and it disappeared. Then I checked approved and low and behold it was approved this morning but I got no email. Hoping my form 4 for an Omega 9k I submitted back on June 12th gets approved soon as well. Seems like there is no Rhyme or Reason to approvals anymore and is basically a crapshoot.

"Only" 181 days and counting for an Amnesty Form 1.
Not sure if they're actively working these since braced pistols are again on sale everywhere. Gotta do a Form 5320.20 (change of address) for my braced pistol... hopefully that doesn't add a new delay... |

It went to FBI/NICS on Aug2. Still waiting. Fucking ridiculous. Ive started an FFL, got my SOT, bought, sold guns, made SBRs, have cans in my inventory. I'm ready to withdraw this thing, transfer to my FFL, make SBS, then Form 4 it back to my trust. At least I'll be able ot move this project along. |

314 today. I emailed my representative yesterday. They replied with a consent form and offered to contact the ATF on my behalf. She is a Democrat member of Congress so I was extremely happy for the offer to help.

Well I made the call in disgust and left the call same way. Got in after 15 min. I tried being polite despite wanting tear into the dude. Said since my form 1's (2 bitch & 1 paid) came in together they are in free backlog pile. Said even if I withdrew the 2 whore braces it would not trigger any movement on the 1 paid in the que. Thx .gov for another completely broke bs process......
