Filed a Form 1 on my Sig P556 on 8/31, just got the approval email a few minutes ago (ironically, while I was reading another thread here in the NFA forum)...so 23 days.
My previous two amnesty F1's filed in April took 41 and 45 days, and my SBS F1 filed in June took 36 days. |

3 amnesty brace eForm 1 applications submitted 5/23/23, finalized 9/24/23.
Still waiting on tax-paid SBR eForm 1 submitted 2/7/23. Previous tax-paid SBR eForm 1 submitted 12/9/22, finalized 12/27/22. Absolutely no rhyme or reason to this. 🙄 |

Just rolled over 5 months on my eForm 1...
Also have a form 4 for 5 months but that's still got at least 6-9 months to cook. |

Looks like I'm out of the running. 222 days from efile to form in hand. My amnesty form was approved this morning.
Also, minutes later, my paid form 1 suppressor was approved (about 90 days). But not my older filed paid form1 sbr. So I'm still waiting on one paid form 1 sbr. |

Glad I came across this thread. Was getting worried about my eform 1 not getting approved sooner. Been waiting since 6/23. I take it some examiners are much more diligent that others. Looks like I got assigned to one of the lazy ones. Oh well, misery enjoys company.

I’m at 10 months now for one stupid brace ‘amnesty’ form 1.
10 freaking months… not a peep except for the email reply ‘don’t bother us’. What a joke you are, ATF. |

Mine just sat unassigned to any examiner until it was approved. No one was looking at it or doing anything. |

I submitted five amnesty brace eForm 1 applications on 1/18/23. The first was approved on 9/25/23. The second was approved 10/2/23 (the ATF email went to my junk mail folder, I only saw it today by luck). The other three applications are still in-process... 22.5 million seconds and counting

I wanna stamp a shotgun I have but this wait shit is for the birds After my last eForm 1s took 7 months to the day. Approved like 6 weeks ago, I swore off doing anymore for a long time. I’ve been looking for a factory SBS. My wife put her Bushmaster suppressor that’s still in jail at my local SOT on her 16” Bushmaster last week. She hated it lol. So,,, I’m 5 days in on the eForm 1 for her soon to be 11.5” Bushmaster. FML |

Sorry, not trying to rub it in. It's absurd how there is -zero- rhyme or reason to what order they process these in. I've been in your shoes before.

I had a Form 1 eFile approved on 9/30/23 -- BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED (that is, I never got an email from ATF). I just happened to log in to the eforms site this morning, didn't see it on my "pending" applications, and found it had been approved almost a month ago.
This happen to anyone else? |
