Infuriating Now my braces and pistols are looking at each other across the gun cabinet. |

I'm still waiting on Feb brace/paper print forms

One of my May filed amnesty F1s came back this week.
I have an 80% going through the system as well. It went from research to submitted about two weeks after I entered it. |

Get both is the answer.

I sumitted 7 forms in mid April, recieved approval in 45 days on 6 of them; however, the 7th one was a Glock that was installed in a Micro-Roni. I have an approval date on eforms website however, they did not send me an approved form 1 for the Glock. My thoughts are it will be disapproved.
Question, has anyone registered a pistol for a pistol-carbine conversion kit and recieved an approval on their form 1 under the brace ban aminasty registration? |

If I'm wrong about that though, I'd like to know. 167 days, and counting........ |

Per ATF Brace Rule FAQ 29: You may continue to posses an SBR equipped with a stabilizing brace after the forbearance period ends as long as you have proof that you submitted an application. This means you may keep the brace(s) on as long as you can show evidence that you applied for a tax-exempt F1. |

Submitted a Form 1 for a PSA receiver that went pending research in early March, it moved to submitted in early May. Disapproved this morning.
Meanwhile nothing about all my other Form 1s that are over 160 days. |

Paid, PSA Brace Lawsuit lower. “Form 23 RPQ incomplete. Refund in progress.” Pretty sure it was complete when I submitted. Or at least my copy is complete. |

Well - I have a little happy news
E-filed two amnesty form 1's on May 22, along with electronic fingerprints. Rec'd e-mail this morning that one has been "approved with conditions - see conditions on the last page of this PDF" Last page "Pursuant to ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F" Does this mean that if Rule 2021R-08F is overturned that my new SBR is no longer legal ? If so, then what ???? Approved form 1 was signed and dated this morning. Hopefully my second one will arrive soon ! |

i have 4 amnesty brace form 1 submitted 5/30 still in process.
|
|
Free at last, thank god I am free at last
|
I have four brace eForms submitted on 2/26/23 with electronic fingerprints submitted the same day that all show a watermark as submitted and are in the "submitted/in process" drop down. Is there any way to check the status other than wait until i get an email or they show up in the approved drop down?

APPARENTLY, YMMV on Form 1 submissions. ...I'd call at this point. |

I called yesterday about my oldest form one which is sitting aaaat...140 days now.
Lady was pretty rude. Said any updates will show up on the portal and that an agent has not been assigned my form 1 yet. So. Don't bother calling I guess. Just like form 4 suppressors. |

Submitted 3 amnesty form 1s on 5/4
Approvals received on: 5/18 7/6 7/7 |
|

14 days? Amazing.
I'm at 171 now. I did call a month ago and was told that everything was in order, I just had to wait. Maybe I'll call again. While on the phone, they were good enough to confirm a form 4 I have in for a suppressor is okay. Still have to wait though. |

If the rule is overturned, it’s stands to reason that everything they “approved” on the forbearance form1s just go back to being pistols like they were before as if the rule never happened.
You’d probably have to put the brace back on as opposed to a stock. I’m keeping mine just how they are. I’m not a criminal and have done everything these jokers have ever asked of me and I can’t be expected to keep up with every changing wind of their bullshit. |

I also received 2 Paid Form 1s at the same time, which were submitted on 5/3/23 and 5/9/23. |

Still waiting on a paid Form 1 from Feb 14th.

I’m at around 80days. Submitted 4/25/23 tried the ask the experts about a specific question that wasn’t in their faq and all I got was a generic response basically saying they are busy. One guy said on the Silencer Shop fb page that they told him 8months. I told him that can’t be right but he insisted. Not sue if he was trolling or not.

Mid fucking January. "Free" SBR. EFT files, individual. Not a peep from those idiots. It's a fucking joke.
I even did a "Ask The Expert" a couple months ago asking WTF. I got a response saying we don't have time to look into your query. Fuck 'em. The only time I even think of it is when I see threads like this one pop up on my feed. ETA: Looked it up on a Julian Date calendar - about 185 days |

End of February, efile, hard prints.
Nada so far. This is stupid, but glad I’m not alone. I’m starting to wonder if they lost a batch or three. |

There is hope. My submission frrom Feb 6th was approved yesterday, Jul 20th.
|
|
|
I submitted more than ten Form 1s in late February. Two came at 14 days, two more at 1 month,, and all but one came between 60-120 days. The last one was sent back due to an error after the brace rule timeframe expired and I resubmitted a paper form 1 a month ago.
In my case, the ones that got approved the fastest were the guns I like the least. My favorite guns took over 110 days to come back. Almost like they know what ones I couldn’t wait for. There is no excuse to not do batch approvals, and I have no idea why it took close to four months to get some back, and others in weeks. |
