I used Silencer Shop for a taxed eform 1. Submitted on May 14th and got the permit control number email from the FBATF the same day. I'm frustrated at day 36. I can't imagine some of you over 100 days.

I have now applied for and received my FFL, bought and sold guns to customers, and received my SOT in less time than my Eform SBS has been pending.
Next test, can I sell a suppressor before my SBS is approved? |

Bought 2 rimfire cans in August. The eForms were filed a minute apart. Got one at end of May, still waiting on the 2nd.

I waited about 160 days to get a denial; filed a corrected one while I was waiting (when I figured out model was wrong); and got that second one approved around 35 days. I do think if anything is wrong, it seems they take longer to figure it out. Maybe they set aside to do approvals, or maybe they do research. I've waited two years for a stamp so I get yalls frustration.
Had five stamps e filed around Feb/ March. All but two came back recently at the same time. The kicker is that of the two that didn't, one is for a two stamp gun....so I have one stamp for a two stamp gun. |

290 days and counting for two form 4s filed Dec 2nd last year.
One is a can for my hunting rifle. I bought in November last year, to be sure I would get it in time for hunting this year. I guess me and my tinnitus can go fuck ourselves.  People keep hoping for shorter times after eforms, but it looks like the average has gone up to 9+ months now. So if you plant one in your wife, she can make a baby faster than the gov can process a 3 page form. |

Had my first can (sandman ) clear back in July after 233 days. I have yet to shoot it
but I did get a 5.56 mount at least.I have an Octane 45k and an Obsidian 9 pending (187 and 3 days respectively), and now I can see where my impatience will set in. Trying to follow everyone else's example and get a new can pending every 6 months or so. Still need a rimfire can and something lighter than the Sandman for hunting. This shit is getting addictive and I only have one. |

Well, 3rd time the charm right?
Got a GSL Woodland from my FFL buddy 3/22/22 and after 9 months the AFT declined due to incorrect signature on eForm Resubmitted and neither of us caught the birth country was Afghanistan so had to be withdrawn Sadly he got sick and passed end of May After his estate/wife worked with the AFT the can got sent to his buddys in Indiana Finally got it transferred back to KY this week and got paperwork sent in today I emailed the original submission agent to get clarification of what was wrong that time. Debating emailing her again to see if there is anything they can do to push ahead At this point it'll be 2+ years so whats the worst they could do?!?! |

Damn. I have been doing Interstates for the last few years with attached list rather than multiple forms. Just got the latest one back - "DISAPPROVED. Only 3 firearms per form allowed."

The fact that they’re all over the map with approvals is a joke, I’m seeing form 4’s being approved faster than form 1’s as only one example. Why some are waiting almost 300 days and some waiting 120 or less is a complete joke. At least before you had an idea on when you were going to be approved, now it’s a crap shoot.
