Work is having me move for six months from VT to OH.

I'm gonna bring the guns, but I'm not 100% sure if/how I should go about NFA the move. I know the atf has the form for letting them know you're moving. This is the current plan.

My questions are:
How long does it take to process the atf form?
If it is going to take too long how have others dealt with this situation? Lock it up in a safe at a friends/relatives house who can't access it or is on the trust?

ATF Form 5320.20  takes about 30 days last time I used one....   if you must leave before its back, you can lock the items up in a place where only you have access (I have used safe deposit boxes while overseas).
